BUSINESS CONTROLLER

Atida | Mifarma is looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for our office located in Albacete. The candidate's function is to ensure the economic, administrative, and accounting control of the company, ensuring the correct financial management of the entity.

Reporting to the Group Financial Planning & Reporting Director, your responsibilities and duties will be:

• Lead Financial Planning and Analysis: Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting strategies. Analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to guide the company's strategic direction.


• Ensure Reporting Accuracy and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of the company's financial standing.


• Support Business Strategy Initiatives: Act as a key financial advisor, collaborating with various departments to assess the financial implications of business decisions. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and growth.


• Drive Cost Control and Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements. Champion profitability by optimizing operational and financial processes.


• Manage Risk and Safeguard Assets: Develop and enforce risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks. Ensure robust internal controls are in place to protect the company’s assets.


• Optimize Internal Financial Processes: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and internal controls for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.


• Provide Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing financial team. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in financial management.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar discipline.


• Mínimum 5 years of experience working as business controller


• Excellent command of English, both written and oral.


• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.


• Understanding of accounting functions and terminology.


• Strong analytical and business skills and demonstrated problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication skills and abilities to work in a team.


• Team spirit oriented, committed, and responsible.


• Ability to quickly absorb and understand business processes.


• Able to work independently and to insure deadlines.


• Used to working with deadlines
