ARCHITECT - BIM MODEL COORDINATOR - BIM SPECIALIST:

PLACE: IRLAND

Our Client and its affiliates has a number of projects requiring an experience Architectural / Engineering or CAD Technician with Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience for a BIM Model Coordinator
role.

The key aspects of the role will be to liaise with project team to set up, manage and support the BIM Modelling effort for the duration of the project.

RESPONSABILITIES:

- Prepare and maintain BIM Execution Plan.
- Set up and maintain Project Models.
- Establish / maintain Model File Index and file management.
- Complete Quality checks on BIM models.
- Manage Project Family creation.
- Export Models to required file formats.
- Receive Models from Vendors / Third Parties.
- Integrate Vendor / Third Party Models with PM Group Models.
- Create Federated Navisworks Model.
- Ensure that Model(s) are to office modelling standards.
- Set up and run Navisworks Clash Testing and Reporting.
- Chair weekly modelling meeting to review model progress and / or issues effecting modelling effort.
- Coordinate and support modelling effort with all disciplines.
- Manage internal / clients document management system.

PLACE: IRLAND

- 5+ years Production experience in Design, Drafting, Architecture or Engineering (must have experience in Project Deliverable Production in a Multi Discipline Design Environment.

- Experience with other BIM Platforms preferable (BIM 360); Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.

- Have ability to work as part of a team and independently.

- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Must be able to manage time, maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.

- Must be a self - starter who pursues continued professional development in BIM software and processes.

- Fluent in English is mandatory.
